This month’s issue of Wired carries an interesting article, How English is Evolving Into A Language We May Not Even Understand.

What ? Has the writer never heard of:
the British Empire,
the difference between the subject and the object of a verb,
anglophone Africa,
most of all – INDIA ?
Ooops – that seems a bit vehement now !
I thought it was an interesting article really, if perhaps a trifle flawed
