How to Get Ready for What’s Next
What God may hereafter require of you, you must not give yourself the least trouble about. Everything He gives you to do, you must do as well as ever you can, and that is the best possible preparation for what He may want you to do next. If people would but do what they have to do, they would always find themselves ready for what came next.

love that quote & love that author!
Dear Justin, I read with some amusement on your profile that at 31 God hasn’t finished with you yet.
At 31 this is cute: you’ve just started, mate. When you’re 61 and can say that, I’ll start listening!
While I don’t want to disparage your age, I wonder at a person doing pastoral work with the very brief life experience of a young man. How can you?
Maybe we need a practice in churches that one takes a pastoral role only after 20 years of adult life. Then experience might bring some credibility.
1 Timothy 4:12
Re: Eric’s comment, I agree with age comes experiential wisdom; however, one would wish that 61 years on earth would’ve brought some gracious aging.
There’s more than enough discouragement on earth Eric – may you continue to grow old, not get old.
Justin – press on.
